Gourmet Gannet – Culinary Workshops

The Gourmet Gannet is my boutique cooking school running ‘hands on’ workshops for small groups of a maximum 8-10 people.

The smaller size of the group allows individual guidance and time to ask plenty of questions.

The idea is to have lots of fun while learning new skills and there is always your own homemade goodies to take away with you or enjoy with the group!

For a list of upcoming classes please visit or to book online please visit  The Gourmet Gannet or email me; allison@gourmetgannet.co.nz

I would love to do the sausage workshop. It is so hard to find a good sausage these days! They are often too salty and filled with nasties – gluten and various additives. I am going to make a point of coming up from New Plymouth to have a sausage making lesson!! Guy being a good old Kiwi Hunter – we often have a glut of duck, venison, hare and recently goose – perhaps I could learn how to make sausages with the excess. Now there’s a plan……………

    Hi Alli
Thanks so much for your support of Waimauku Kindergarten. We had a great time at the croissant workshop on Thursday and everyone is keen to try another workshop. The kids all enjoyed croissants for breakfast or morning tea on Friday.

It was a pleasure to do and meet a great group of girls as well as helping the Kindergarten at the same time. I just love my thank you card from the kids!

    Hi Alli
I am keen to do the sausage course – would i need any special sausage machine to be able to do it at home after the workshop?
